Tallest Angel Falls!
- Angel
falls is the world highest uninterrupted waterfall in the world; it is
located in Guyana highlands, the height of the water fall 979m (3212
feet).
- The waterfalls drop over the edge of Auyantepui Mountain in canaima national park.
- The park has 3 million hectares, making it the second largest protected area Venezuela and sixth in the world.
- The waterfall has been known as the “angel falls” since the mid twentieth century.
- They
are named after Jimmie Angel, an adventurous pilot from Missouri,
United States, who flew to the air circus Lindbergh; he saw the
waterfall for the first time in 1933.
- The Angel fall is fifteen times higher than Niagara falls with its total of approximately 52 meters.
