Mysterious Light Image In Mars!

- Nasa’s recently releases a new photo from curiosity rover, curiosity is a car sized robotic rover.
- Curiosity was launched from cape canaveral on november 26,2011 and it is successfully landed on mars on august 2012.

- The rovers goals are investigating climate, geology, the rover investigating carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, and
sulfur.Curiosity is still busy tracking around the mars surface, it
sending fascinating images of landscape, a set of photos from few days
ago are all pretty normal.
- The
photo was taken by the rover’s right navigation camera,a close-up look
at the light source makes it look like it has a flat bottom and rises
upward, where it dissipates.
- Ellison
joins in on a discussion about the light signal,”it’s not in the
left-navcam image taken at the exact same moment. It’s a cosmic ray
hit.” Cosmic rays are high-energy particles that go flying through
space.
- The
astronauts have been reports “when a cosmic ray happens to pass through
the retina it causes the rods and cones to fire, and you perceive a
flash of light that is really not there”,astronaut don pettit wrote on
his blog.
