INDIA-CHINA WAR - Again??

Let me take you back 50 years ago to the first India-China war. Known as the Sino-Indian border conflict in 1962, the occurrence of events like the Tibet and the border dispute, the forward policy, and a few other certain early incidents lead to the war. The main issue was the disputed Himalayan border. Even though China won the war by military and had most of it's terms accomplished, it lost it's image internationally. However, India had to make a lot of military sweeping for any future conflicts.

The recent incursions by the Chinese army into the Indian territory has started to give the Sino-Indian war feel again. China has invented a new methodology for deliberately entering into the Indian territory. China refuses to define the Line of actual control along it's Indian border and also recently claiming that Arunachal Pradesh is part of Southern Tibet. With more than 19kms into the Indian territory, here are some of the recent incursions of the Red Army:

July 11th - Chinese choppers made a violation by entering the Indian Air Space
July 12th - Red troops in Burtse, 2kms near the Indian posts, which is just 30km from LA
July 16th, 17th & 18th - Chumar sector, Ladakh, has been experiencing a lot of recent incursions
July 20th - Inside Chumar sector, a Chinese patrol spent a few hours in evening and left back to their posts across the LA

The border police are patrolling the line of control instead of the Indian troops. The training and mindset of the border police is nothing when compared to the People's Liberation Army, which has thus resulted in getting outwitted. The government has deployed the Indo-Tibetan Border Police and Ladakh Scouts rather than the Military troops in response to the increasing incursions, to setup tents from the intruder's camp at a safer distance. Even worse, India remains on diplomacy, while China is belligerent.

What should India do when things go out of hand? Will China stop the incursions? Or what if tomorrow there is a war again? Is India ready to fight back? DO WE HAVE ENOUGH FIRE POWER??

As you can see India is behind China in all fields of comparison. Should there be a war in the near future, we need no rocket science to understand that history will repeat itself. If the result of 1962 conflict haunts India, does it mean silence and diplomacy is the best answer to all the Chinese war atrocities? What should India do ?
