Supernova!

• Supernova is a stellar explosion that is more energetic than nova,a supernova is an explosion of a massive super giant star.
• It may shine with the brightness of 10 billion suns,the total energy output may be 10⁴⁴ joules, as much as the total output of the sun during its 10 billion year lifetime that bright star isn’t actually a star, at least not anymore.

• The brilliant point of light is the explosion of a star that has reached the end of its life, otherwise known as a supernova.
  
• Supernovae are classified as type 1 or type 2 depending upon the shape of their light curves and the nature of their spectra.
• Type 1 supernova: star accumulates matter from a nearby neighbor until a runaway nuclear reaction ignites.
• Type 2 supernova: star runs out of nuclear fuel and collapses under its own gravity.
