  • Falling stars also called a shooting stars and it is the common name for visible path of meteroid,these amazing streaks of light you can sometimes see in the night sky are caused by tiny bits of dust and rock called meteroids falling into earths atmosphere and burning up.
  • Meteors commonly called as falling star or shooting star,at certain times of year, you are likely to see a great number of meteors in the night sky.
  • These events are called meteor showers and they occur when the earth passes through the trail of debris left by a comet as its orbits the sun.
  • The stars are falling every year at night time, the meteors showers are falling at the time of january1-6(quadtrantids), april 19-24(april lyrids), may 1-8(eta aquarids), july 15- august15(delta aquarids), july 25- august 18(perseids), october 16 -27(orionids), october 20 – november 30(taurids), november 15 – 20(leonids), december 7-15(geminids).
