• Don't believe e-mails or SMS regarding lotteries or gift offers.
• Furnish credit or debit card numbers only on authentic websites.

 

• Check the authenticity of websites by a pad lock symbol or by icons of certifications.
• Avoid using online banking facility from Internet cafes.
• Use passwords with special characters and numbers.

• Never share your internet banking passwords with anyone.
• Don't write it down anywhere. 

• Sending threat messages and obscene materials via e-mail is illegal.
• Avoid uploading personal information including your name, phone numbers and photographs on online.
• Never agree to meet a stranger in person with whom you have char online.
• Keep your Wi-Fi connections secured by encryptions and passwords.
• Please be aware of the websites your child visits.
• Always observe browsing by children.
• Never allow them to browse in closed rooms. 
• Remember people who are online may not be real as they claim to be in matrimonial sites.

• Please be aware of Trojans and Key loggers.
• Don't download materials from unauthorized sources.
• Have a good anti virus and firewall.
