CREDIT CARD FRAUD

• Always furnish your correct residential proof, salary certificate, Identity proof and phone number while applying for a credit card.
• Keep your credit card safe and PIN number confidential. 
• Keep your credit card with your clear signature on the signature panel. Don't let others handle your card.
   
• Don't reveal either the number of your credit card or the CVV number (last three numbers on the back of the card) to anyone over phone or e-mail.
• Don't give the number of your credit card to any one.
• Don't give photocopies of your credit card to agents/representatives of any bank. If you receive a card without applying for it, cut the card into four pieces and send it back to the bank. 
• Always book rail/air/bus tickets yourself using your credit card. Don't give the card to travel agents/ representatives to book tickets. 
• Make sure no one over looks the PIN number of your card while withdrawing money at ATM. Don't seek assistance of strangers who volunteer to help inside the ATM kiosk.
   
• Don't overuse your credit card. Make sure your usage amount is paid back within 30 days of the transaction.
• When using credit card for purchase make sure you are presence while the card is swiped by the merchant. Ensure your credit card number or copy of the card is not taken by the merchant. Also make sure your card is not swiped twice.
