HOW TO HAVE AN EMPHATIC HAND SHAKE

  • Always know when to use your handshake so that it doesn't end you up in an inappropriate situation
  • Try to be the first in going in for a handshake, it shows positivity from you
  • Make sure you extend your right hand and the hand is in proper posture
  • Do not have your palm facing either up or down; the palm should meet with the palm of the other person.

  • Don't crush the other person's hand with force,  but instead hold it with gentle care

  • Keep your hand straight rather than rolling it sideways

  • Shake your hand once or twice and make sure its a firm handshake
  • The most important part of a handshake is to maintain the eye contact with the respected person
  • A decent smile on your face would only help complimenting your handshake
