- The most corrupt country in the world is Somalia.
- The CPI gave it an 8 rating out of 100.
- The country is ravaged by political conflicts and war on the streets; the politicians and government officials have taken advantage of these situations.
- Since the regime was ousted in 1991, Somalia doesn’t have a proper governing body and it is almost lawless.
North Korea

- North Korea is a controversial communist country.
- CPI gave the country a score of 8 out of 100 ranking it an extremely corrupted country.
- The country thinks of itself as self-sufficient and it seldom allows foreign intruders into the country. It is hard to get in and out of this country.
Afghanistan

- Afghanistan comes 3rd on the list of most corrupted countries in the world, which is hardly a coveted list to be in.
- It got a rating of 8 out of 100 from the Corruption Perception Index. The country is in a political turmoil and most officials take bribes to give their families a better life.
