The
Apple's New Mobile Operating System iOS 7 was released on September 18.
This was the one of most awaited biggest change to iOS since it was
introduced after a period of six years. It adds a Lot more of new
features that are streamlined with abstract look.
The problem is that Nobody can be perfect, Right ?
After a couple of weeks of its existence, the iOS 7 has gained a
handful of complaints and issues from its users. I am hereby bringing to
you 5 major bugs that is being repeatedly heard about the iOS 7 and
also the ways to fix them or at least a least possible way to bypass
them.
1) iMESSAGE FAILING
The
Messages Sent in iOS7 initially tends to appear working fine which
after a period of time shows a RED Exclamation mark which denotes that
the message is not actually sent.
After Reporting these Issues Apple says “ We are aware of an
issue which is causing texts sent through our iMessage app is not being a
go through for some of our users”. It has further advised the customers
to contact AppleCare so as to resolve their issues and also has
apologized for the inconveniences until the Update is released.
FIX
- Wait for the Update to be released.
- Some users say that the issue gets resolved temporarily after Restarting the Device by turning OFF and ON.
2) ANIMATION FLAWS & FLU
Many users say that they are already literally sick of the new iOS 7. The
iPad and iPhone users, may be a few of them are saying they're getting
motion sickness while looking at iOS 7's animations. On the new OS the
images zoom in and out whenever users switch between apps.
TIME Explains about this as,” Human Brain gets unsettled and deviated whenever the eyes are trying to focus images that don't match up evenly. Take the example of reading a book in a Moving car.
FIX
-
Go to Settings -> General -> Accessibility .
-
Click “Reduce Motion" so as to make the zooming go away.
3) BATTERY JUICE DRAIN
This Issue of higher battery juice drain is being mostly
reported by users of older phones like the iPhone 4S,4. They report
that iOS 7 drains battery at a very high rate than the iOS 6 did. Looking at the reasons behind these can be the ability of the iOS 7 to run its apps in the background while doing another task.
FIX
-
Go to Settings → General -> Background App Refresh
After getting into this you can choose the apps that you'll allow to run in the background and those others which you don't.
Other than these you can
-
Reduce Screen Brightness
-
Switching OFF the GPS & Bluetooth if they are not being used.
4) APPS LOG YOU OUT
This may not be considered as a Major problem. But for many users
this emerges as a problem as the apps timeout at frequent intervals and
also logs them out. This makes many users to get frustrated entering the
login credits again and again. Few apps that are being mentioned over the time are Snapchat and Mailbox.
FIX
The Developers have worked on these issues with the apps and have come up with updates and fixes for their applications.
-
Go to Settings → General → Background App Refresh → Turn off any Apps that are Causing Problems.
-
The Apps may take care of themselves Over the time.
-
Updates from Apple should be in accordance with the Apps that are associated with these Issues.
5) LOCK SCREEN BYPASS
This is the first and the Major problem that has been
addressed in iOS 7 just in few days after the new operating system has
spread out and made its roots in the Market. The
One particular instance which the iPhones and iPads faced were running
the Camera app and having the Control Center activated on Lock screens.
On this state It would only take a few steps for someone to unlock this
phone.
FIX
-
The iOS 7.0.2 Update released on September 26, 2013
-
Ensure that the Control Center is not active when the Camera App is functioning.
The above are Certain problems with their fixes that we
noticed . Further If you are an Apple user and experiencing problems
with iOS 7 and also have found fixes for those please do share with us
in Comments.
